The Programming for AI course is designed for people who have not written code before or have only tried it briefly. The first two weeks move slowly and focus on understanding what code is doing rather than on memorising syntax. A tutor reads through your submitted exercises and writes specific comments on your code — not a checklist or auto-generated report. They might note where your logic is sound, where a simpler approach exists, or where a misunderstanding needs addressing. Yes, if you already have a working knowledge of Python — loops, functions, and basic data structures — you can start at the Applied Machine Learning course. We suggest being honest with yourself about your current level. The programming module exists precisely because trying to learn both Python and ML simultaneously often produces a shallow understanding of each.

Most learners spend between five and eight hours per week — reading material, working through examples, and completing exercises. Some weeks may be lighter when the concepts are familiar; others may take longer if you want to explore further. The schedule assumes you have other commitments and is designed to be manageable, not exhausting.

On completing the course requirements you receive a completion record from Bestari Tech. More importantly, you will have a portfolio of completed exercises and, in the Applied ML and Language Models courses, a project you built yourself. That work is more useful in practice than a certificate alone.
